(Oro-Medonte, ON)- On Saturday September 14th at 5:10 AM, Barrie Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Old Barrie Rd in Oro-Medonte Twp. A motorist reported the incident to police after the driver and passenger tried to dissuade him from calling.
Investigation into the condition of the driver revealed that he was operating this motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Charged with “Impaired Operation†and “Exceed 80 mgs†is Tyler SLACK 19 years old from Barrie. His licence was suspended for a period of 90 days under the Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) program and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Barrie on September 23rd.
