Paul YOUNG – Speeding, Drunk Driving

(The Blue Mountains, Ontario) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male motorist with drinking and driving as a result of a vehicle stop over the weekend.

On the morning of the 15th of September 2013, shortly after midnight, an officer on patrols conducted a vehicle stop on Grey Road 21 near Monterra Road in The Blue Mountains. Interactions with the driver revealed that he was under the influence of alcohol and as such he was subjected to a roadside breath test which he failed. He was subsequently transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.

Charged is 58 year-old Paul YOUNG of The Blue Mountains, he is facing a Criminal Code charge of ‘over 80’ and speeding under the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Owen Sound court on the 3rd of October 2013.
