(GOGAMA) – The Gogama OPP has laid drug related charges against a Barrie, Ontario, man stemming from a routine traffic stop on October 5th at Hwy 560A near Shinning Tree, Ontario.
While on joint patrol with the MNR, a Gogama OPP officer had occasion to interview a motorist at the roadside.
Based on investigative cues observed by the officer, the motorist was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
As a result of a search under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act , the OPP officer located and seized approximately 10 grams of suspected marijuana, along with a quantity of cannabis hashish.
Todd GALLAGHER, 51, of Barrie, has been charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.
The accused person was released from police custody but must attend Provincial Court in Gogama on November 19th to answer to the charges laid against him.
