(IRQOUOIS FALLS) – An officer with the Iroquois Falls OPP has charged a local resident with a Criminal Harassment, Breach of Probation and Prostitution related offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada stemming from a complaint received by the Ontario Provincial Police on October 6th in the town of Iroquois Falls.
The OPP were called in to investigate the matter where a person is alleged to have repeatedly followed and propositioned a person for a sexual purpose.
The suspect was located and arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Ubald THERIAULT, 85, of Iroquois Falls has been charged with:
– Criminal Harassment contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Communicating for the Purpose of Prostitution contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
– 4 counts of Fail to Comply with a Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He remains in custody and must attend Provincial Court in Timmins on October 8th for the purposes of a bail hearing.
