Timothy Cartmell – Drunk Driving

(PILKINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 19, 2014 at approximately 10:00 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Wellington County Road 21 in Pilkington Township.

Officers spoke with the male driver of a 2010 Ford vehicle and suspected that he had been drinking. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and brought to a local detachment for further testing.

The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.

Timothy Cartmell aged 55 of Kitchener has been charged with Over 80 MGS contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 5, 2014 to answer to the charge.
