(BRANT COUNTY, ON) –Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a theft from a Paris home on 1 August 2015 at approximately noon.
OPP investigators attended and discovered that unknown person(s) attended a Daugaard Avenue residence while the home owners were in the back yard. The thieves entered the residence and took jewellery and cash valued just under $5000 from the un-locked residence.
The County of Brant OPP want to remind the public to “Protect your property” and avoid being a victim by following some of these helpful tips:
Watch for suspicious people or activity in your neighbourhood
Lock doors and windows, even if you are in the backyard
Keep garage doors and entry doors secured
Keep valuables in the home in secure locations
