(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after receiving a report of a theft from a Fourteenth Street West, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, May 29, 2015 between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., unknown suspects attended St Mary’s Cemetery and proceeded to remove two (2) garden hoses and two (2) sprinkler systems from the property.
The theft is estimated at approximately $320 dollars.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
The OPP would like to remind all community residents that if they see suspicious persons or vehicles, try to obtain as much detail as you can, write down the person(s) description, the type of vehicle they are driving and the licence plate number.
Then don’t delay, call the police and report it. 1 – 888 – 310 – 1122 will put you in contact with the nearest O.P.P. Communications Centre to report the activity. OPP (677) on your cellular will also work.
