Terrance CURRAN – Drunk Driving, Drugs, etc. etc.

(DRYDEN, ON) – On Saturday November 12, 2016 at approximately 3:00 pm, members of the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received a traffic complaint where a vehicle was being driven in an erratic manner. The officers located the suspect vehicle on Highway 502, Unorganized Twp.

As a result of the investigation, Terrance CURRAN (62 years old) of Dryden has been charged with Impaired operation of a motor vehicle contrary to section 253(1) (a) of the Criminal Code, Operate a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood contrary to section 253(1) (b) of the Criminal Code, Possession of a Schedule ll substance – Cannabis Marihuana contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act, Having care and control of a motor vehicle with an unsealed container of liquor contrary to section 32(1) of the Liquor Licence Act and Possession of unmarked cigarettes contrary to section 29(2) of the Tobacco Tax Act. CURRAN has been released from custody and will appear in court in Dryden on November 28, 2016 to answer to the charges.
