Mark Edward SIMPSON – Drunk Driving

(SOUTHERN GEORGIAN BAY, ON) – On Friday November 11, 2016 at 5:22 p.m. a member of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle for a traffic violation in the Town of Midland, ON.

During the stop the officer determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol and subsequently conducted a roadside test. As a result of the investigation, the driver, Mark Edward SIMPSON (age 55) of Sudbury ON, is charged with:

Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Driving while ability impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The driver also received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle has been impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on November 24, 2016 in Midland, ON.
