(TINY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Friday July 14, 2017 a member of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting traffic enforcement in Tiny Township, Ontario. At approximately 6:55 p.m. the officer observed an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) travelling on Tiny Beaches Road near Concession 5 in Tiny Township, Ontario.
The officer stopped the ATV and spoke to the operator. Further investigation determined that the ATV operator is under suspension from driving a vehicle. The male driver Christopher James BRANTON (age 34) from Tiny Township, Ontario is has been charged with:
Adult Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Adult Unlawfully Drive Off Road Vehicle on Highway contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Penetanguishene, Ontario at a later date.
