(Cavan Monaghan Township, ON) – On Tuesday April 15,at approximately 6:40 pm members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a Break and Enter from a Auto Wrecker yard that occurred on Morton Line
A single male party had gained entry to a locked compound at a Tow company yard and stole a tow truck. The suspect then used the truck to drive through the gate to exit the property but lost control and drove into a ditch outside the business. He was confronted by a witness who contacted the OPP.
Officers attended and conducted an investigation , as a result 21 year old Cameron McPHERSON of Peterborough has been charged with, Theft over $5000, Theft Under $5000, Possession Under $5000 and Dangerous Driving.
McPHERSON was released with a future court date of 29 May 2014 to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts
