(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment continues to investigate a head on collision at a Hwy #3, Cayuga, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Tuesday April 15th, 2014 at approximately 4:30 pm a grey 2005 Pontiac van was travelling eastbound on Hwy #3 when a westbound grey 2013 Toyota car crossed into the eastbound lane and struck the van head on.
As a result of the collision the driver of the Pontiac van identified as 47 year old Edward ARMSTRONG of Haldimand County, ON sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a Hagersville hospital after receiving emergency medical treatment from Haldimand County Paramedics.
The driver of the Toyota car identified as 29 year old Peter Wall of Niagara Region, ON also sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a Hagersville hospital by Haldimand County paramedics where he was treated and released.
Charged with Impaired Driving, Driving While Disqualified, 2 counts of Driving while under Suspension and Driving a motor vehicle with Open container of liquor is 29 year old Peter WALL of Niagara Region, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
