(Selwyn Township, ON) – On Tuesday April 15, at approximately 2:40 p.m., members of the Peterborough County OPP investigated a driver of a Ford F150 pick-up truck that was being operated on Woodland Drive.
During the investigation officers discovered that the 68 year old driver had been suspended from driving and was currently disqualified from driving due to previous criminal driving convictions.
As a result of the investigation 68 year old Wayne KENT of Peterborough, has been charged with Driving while disqualified and Suspended Driving.
KENT is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on May 29 to answer to the charges.
His vehicle was towed and was seized for a 45 day hold, due to the charge.
