(Petawawa, Ontario) – The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a serious two vehicle collision on Hwy 17 just west of Driftwood Park Road in Head Clara Maria Twp. The collision was reported at approximately 10:57 am today.
Hwy 17 is closed. Due to the location of the collision, an alternate detour route is not available. The OPP are asking motorists to avoid the area until further notice.
P/C John Riendeau is the investigating officer. Ontario Provincial Police Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting with the investigation. The investigation is continuing.
