The investigators of the Sûreté du Québec in partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police, the Ottawa Police service, and the Laval Police service arrested three Quebec residents and are executing search warrants related to armed robberies that were committed in financial institutions in Quebec and in Ontario.
This investigation was launched with the collaboration of the several police services from Quebec and Ontario; the Gatineau police service, the Greater Sudbury Police Service, the Sault Ste. Marie Police and the Waterloo Regional Police. Seven armed robberies were perpetrated between March and September 2013.
The investigation is continuing.
