(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Kenora man for an Impaired Driving offence.
On Saturday August 6, 2016 shortly after 10:00 am, members of the Kenora OPP received a report of a possible impaired driver in the Ninth St area of Kenora. Police attended located the vehicle. They determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and arrested him at the scene. He was transported to the detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation, 28 year old Ryan McDonald of Kenora has been charged with Impaired Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle contrary to section 253(1)(a)of the Criminal Code (CC) and Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b)CC.
He is to appear in Kenora Court on September 1, 2016 to answer to the charges.
