(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a man with drug offences. The charges stem from vehicle stop at a RIDE check on Government Road West in Kirkland Lake. The subsequent investigation led to the seizure of marihuana and hashish. The incident occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. on April 5, 2014.
Charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking is Sebastien COTE age 19 of Rouyn Noranda, Quebec. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on May 29, 2014.
