(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Fleetwood Road just before 1 am on Saturday morning (December 19).
The driver was had been consuming alcohol. An investigation was commenced and the driver, 42 year old Richard MCGILL of Janetville, was arrested and charged with:
Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on January 7, 2016.
