(Tweed,ON) – On August 28, 2013 at 3:50pm Central Hastings OPP were called to a residential alarm on Old Hungerford Road in the Municipality of Tweed. Investigation revealed the home was broken into through a rear bedroom window. No property appeared to be stolen.
On August 21, 2013 a residence on Moneymore Road near Hogs Back Road in the Municipality of Tweed was broken into where several hundred dollars in cash was stolen. A full size van and an unknown adult male and female were observed walking down the driveway earlier in the day. The male is described as 25-30 years of age, stocky with dark hair.
The same day a homeowner on Moneymore Road near Old Hungerford Road and a homeowner on Smith Road discovered pry marks to a rear door however no entry was gained.
