(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Tuesday the 27th of August 2013, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a disturbance on Graphite Road in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands. Officers attended the location and investigation revealed that an adult male had assaulted another adult male with a weapon. The injured male received a non-life threatening injury as a result of the incident.
27 year old Oliver URBAN of Hastings Highlands has been arrested and charged with assault with a weapon. He has been held pending a bail hearing and his next scheduled court appearance is the 10th of September 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario.
