(SARNIA, ON) A male passenger in a car who interfered with a Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while the officer was speaking with the vehicle driver was arrested and charged criminally.
The Lambton OPP officer was in Sarnia on September 1, 2014 around 11:30 p.m., when he was requested by a citizen to investigate a possible driving issue in a parking lot.
The OPP officer began his investigation in what should have been a private conversation between the officer and the person occupying the driver’s seat, however, the vehicle passenger tried to involve himself in the situation.
Joshua MOYER, 28 years of age from Lambton County, was arrested and is now facing a Sarnia court date of October 13, 2014 to answer to the charges of Obstruct a Peace Officer and Resist Peace Officer.
The person who the officer was originally trying to speak to, in the driver’s seat, faces no charges.
