(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On March 12, 2014 at approximately 1:49 a.m. the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fight that had just occurred in front of a business on Bowes Street in Parry Sound.
Upon investigation, it was determined that a physical altercation began as a result of a verbal dispute on the road about who had the right of way. The suspect began assaulting the victim and then fled the scene on foot. Police later located the suspect, identified as Paul BAUMANN, 49 years of age from Parry Sound and charged him with Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Parry Sound on April 17, 2014 to answer to his charge.
