(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Thursday March 13, 2014 shortly before 9:30 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were at the scene of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Wallace Ave. South and Line 84.
A driver arrived on the scene with keys to the vehicle involved in the collision, as they were required by the towing company. While speaking to this driver, an OPP officer at the scene detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. The driver was given a roadside breath test which he failed. He also failed two Intoxilyzer Breath Tests at the Wellington OPP Detachment in Teviotdale.
Peter KUBASSEK (54) of Huron East has been charged with “driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in bloodâ€Â, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear at the Listowel Court of Justice on April 09, 2014, to answer to this charge.
