(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 52-year-old male after police investigated a motor vehicle at an Argyle Street South, Caledonia, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at approximately 9:55 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen about the occupants of a motor vehicle located in the parking lot of McDonalds.
Officers arrived on scene and located the vehicle and driver.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 52-year-old Evan Frank STAATS of Oshweken, Ontario with care or control while impaired, care or control over 80mgs, four (4) counts of drive while disqualified and having care or control of a motor vehicle with unsealed container of liquor.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
