(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 60-year-old female after police investigated a single motor vehicle collision at a Main Street North, Hagersville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at approximately 5:59 p.m., police were called to a single motor vehicle collision.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a Nissan Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) was travelling on Main Street North when the vehicle left the roadway and struck the front porch of a house causing substantial damage. The vehicle continued northbound across the lawn striking a hydro pole before coming to rest. No injuries were sustained as a result of this incident.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 60-year-old Marlene DURNING of Haldimand County, Ontario with driving over the legal limit.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charge.
