(THUNDER BAY, ON) On Tuesday, September 16, at approximately 9:25 pm, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for assistance from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
The CBSA had advised police that a vehicle failed to stop at the Pigeon River Border crossing. The vehicle in question was located on Highway 61 near Blake Hall Road. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle with their lights and sirens activated but the driver would not stop. Officers were eventually able to stop the vehicle. The 36 year old male driver from San Antonio, Texas was arrested and transported to the CBSA where he was taken into custody and processed.
