(Ottawa, ON) -The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is presently investigating a motor vehicle collision on Highway 417 eastbound, east of Boundary Road.
At approximately 7:45 am, a collision occurred involving a car and a tractor trailer. One person was killed as of result of the collision.
Highway 417 eastbound is currently closed at Boundary Road. Motorist can exit at Boundary Road and can follow the Emergency Detour Routes.
The collision in under investigation and the OPP is asking anyone who may have any information in relation to this collision to contact the detachment at 613-270-9171.
