Originally Reported As Two Vehicle – Driver Charged
(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has released the name of the driver of the tractor trailer that crashed into the rear of a police vehicle on January 25, 2014, just after 9:00 a.m. The impact from the tractor trailer caused the police vehicle to strike the rear of a Pontiac vehicle that was broken down ahead of the police vehicle, which then caused the Pontiac vehicle to strike the rear of a tow truck at the scene.
The male driver of the tractor trailer, 42 year old Swaran SARWARA, from Etobicoke, ON, has been charged with Careless Driving and Fail To Move Into Another Lane For Emergency Vehicle – If Safe To Do.
The male driver is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on February 26, 2014 to answer to the charges.
