(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating an act of mischief at a Norfolk Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, February 24, 2014, at approximately 12:43 a.m., officers were conducting foot patrols in the area of Norfolk Street South when the officer noted that a cash box at the parking lot had been damaged.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that unknowns attended the parking lot and proceeded to damage the cash box. Once inside, Canadian currency was removed.
The OPP want to remind all residents that if they see anything suspicious to please contact the police immediately. If anyone is found committing acts of Mischief and thefts, appropriate charges will be laid.
