(Ottawa, ON) -The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is presently investigating a motor vehicle collision on Highway 416 southbound at Hunt Club Road.
At approximately 7:40 am, a collision occurred involving two motor vehicles. One person was killed as of result of the collision and another is being transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Highway 416 southbound is currently closed at Hunt Club Road. The closure is being changed. There will be no access to Highway 416 southbound from Highway 417.
The collision in under investigation and the OPP is asking anyone who may have any information in relation to this collision to contact the detachment at 613-270-9171.
