(NAPANEE, ON) – On July 30, 2014 at approximately 9:00pm,officers of the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an assault that occurred on Bath Road approximately 1 km East of Millhaven.
At approximately 7:45pm, a 25-year-old male victim was driving Eastbound on Bath Road when he observed an unknown male lying on the side of the paved entrance to a rest stop/park.. He approached the male to see if he required any assistance. A second unknown male assaulted the victim and attempted to take his vehicle. The victim intervened and was assaulted a second time receiving serious, non-life threatening injuries. The victim fled and police were called.
