(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON.) – Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – West Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Oxford County OPP and OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) members, conducted a search warrant at a residence on Brock Street on July 31, 2014 in the Village of Thamesford.
The warrant led to the seizure of suspected Cannabis Marihuana Plants with an estimated value of $6,500.
OPP arrested and charged two people as a result of this investigation.
Charged with the following is, 38 year old Shane HANSFORD and 38 year old Tina HANSFORD, both of Thamesford:
Produce a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana
Both were release on a Promise to Appear with a future court date in Woodstock.
