(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On April 13, 2014 an OPP officer was travelling South bound on Highway 35 when a North bound vehicle swerved to avoid a vehicle crossing the Highway, travelling East bound on Drum Road.
This intersection is controlled by stop signs on Drum Road. As a result of the officers observations the East bound vehicle was stopped and the driver was charged with a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) related offence.
Danielle MINNIE, 22 years of age, was charged with failing to yield to traffic on a through Highway, contrary to the HTA.
The accused faces a fine of $110.00.
