NO INSURANCE CHARGES

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On April 1st, 2014, Quinte West OPP charged two people in two separate traffic stops for failing to have insurance.

At approximately 4:00pm a 35 year old female from Quinte West was stopped on Wallbridge Rd. and later during the day at approximately 10:00pm a 34 year old Quinte West female was stopped on Lorne Ave. Both the female parties are to appear in court to answer to the charge of Operate Motor Vehicle No Insurance. Minimum fines in Ontario for not having your motor vehicle insured start at $5000.

Driving in the Province of Ontario is a privilege not a right. It is important that your vehicle is properly insured and you have all the required documentation to drive on Ontario roadways.
