(GUELPH-ERMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 15, 2014 at approximately 3:07 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a Nissan Altima for a Highway Traffic Act violation Wellington Road 32 near Wellington Road 124 in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Police detected the strong odour of burnt marihuana emanating from inside the motor vehicle and observed a small quantity of marihuana as well. Police placed the driver and under arrest and a search was conducted resulting in Oxycodone and Percocet being seized.
Nathaniel Graham age 21 of Cambridge has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams and Possession of Schedule 1 Substance (Other Drugs) contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 16, 2014 to answer to the charges.
