(ODESSA, ON) – On Wednesday September 24th at 12:45 am officers with the Loyalist and Napanee Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to report of a break and enter, and assault with a weapon at a residence on Chipmunk Ridge Rd in Loyalist Township.
Two males entered the home demanding drugs and cash. The adult male occupant of the home was assaulted and suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. The adult female occupant was not physically injured.
As a result on an ongoing investigation by the Napanee OPP Crime Unit, 28 year-old Jonathan HILL of Belleville faces the following charges:
Break and Enter – Section 348(1)(a) Criminal Code
Robbery and Wounding – Section 344(1)(b) CC
Aggravated Assault – Section 268 CC
Uttering Threats – Section 264.1(1)(a) CC
Mischief Under $5,000 – Section 430(4) CC
HILL is in custody and will appear at a Bail Hearing this afternoon at Provincial Court in Napanee.
