(WEST GREY, ON) – On Friday, July 11, 2014 at approximately 9:09 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision on Hwy. 6 at Grey Rd. 6 in the Township of West Grey involving a motorcycle.
The driver of a 2008 Honda motorcycle was travelling southbound on Hwy. 6. He lost control of his vehicle when he observed a 2000 Peterbuilt tractor trailer pull forward from Grey Rd. 6 into the intersection Hwy. 6. The vehicles did not collide.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 71 year old male from Paisley, Ontario received minor injuries. He was transported to hospital as a precaution and released.
The driver of the transport truck, Ross Edward WATSON, 71, of the Township of Southgate, was charged with failing to yield to traffic under the Highway Traffic Act.
