(KENORA, ON) A 26 year old Kenora man is facing charges following a traffic complaint on Friday July 11, 2014. The Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call of a possible impaired driver in the Minto area of Kenora around 11:00 pm. Police attended and located the suspect vehicle and found the male driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported for further tests.
As a result of this investigation, Barrie FONTAINE of Kenora has been charged with Driving with Over 80 mg of Alcohol in his Blood contrary to the Criminal Code. He is also facing several charges under the Highway Traffic Act. He is to attend Kenora court on August 7, 2014 to answer to the charge.
