MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION LEADS TO DRINKING AND DRIVING CHARGE

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers attended the scene of a single motor vehicle collision on Rest Acres Road south of the 403 Highway, in the County of Brant.

At approximately 7:58 p.m. on July 26th, 2014, officers attended the motor vehicle collision. Officers found a grey Cadillac had struck a construction barrier. While the officer was talking to the male driver, he could smell the odour of alcohol. The driver was given the Roadside Screening test and as a result of the test, he was taken to the Brantford City Police Service for Intoxilyzer Tests.

Timothy FRYE 39 years of age from Oxford County is facing the following criminal charge

Drive over 80 milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content

The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on August 29th, 2014 to answer to the charge.
