(Marmora, ON) – On July 25, 2014 members of Central Hastings O.P.P conducted marine patrol on Crowe Lake in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake. At approximately 4 p.m. officers interacted with an operator who had been consuming alcohol and failed an approved screening device. As a result 53 year old Charles WELLS of Marmora was arrested and charged with Operate Vessel with More Than 80mg of Alcohol in Blood. Consequently, he also received a driver’s licence suspension. He will appear in Ontario Court of Justice – Belleville on September 4, 2014.
