(ADELAIDE METCALFE, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently on the scene of a motor vehicle collision.
At approximately 4:00 p.m. on November 4, 2015, a motor home towing a car was travelling southbound on Kerwood Road. It failed to stop at a stop sign, entered the intersection at Napperton Drive, and struck a westbound sport utility vehicle (SUV).
Occupants of the vehicles were trapped, and had to be extricated by the Adelaide Metcalfe Fire Department.
There were two occupants in each vehicle. All four people were transported to hospital by ambulance with undetermined injuries.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision (TTCI) Investigators are attending the scene to assist with the investigation.
As a result, Kerwood Road between Mulifarry Drive and Katesville Drive, and Napperton Drive between Napier Road and Kellam Road will be closed, and is expected to be closed for some time. Motorists will have to find alternative routes.
