(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – At approximately 12:55 p.m. on November 3, 2015, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), and the Thames Centre Fire Department, responded to a structure fire at a residential address in the 100 block of Elgin Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a deceased person at the scene.
The deceased female has been identified as 67-year-old Arlene MCCALLUM, from Thames Centre, Ontario. The Middlesex County OPP conducted a thorough investigation into the death, and no foul play is suspected.
The fire investigation was turned over to the Office of the Fire Marshall (OFM) on November 3, 2015. The Middlesex County OPP released the scene at approximately 4:50 p.m. on November 4, 2015.
