(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment has charged a 20-year-old male after checking a vehicle at a Norfolk Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, January 3, 2016 at approximately 2:32 a.m., police were conducting a R.I.D.E program (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) in the area of Norfolk Street South and Decou Road, when a vehicle attracted an officers attention.
The vehicle was subsequently stopped and checked for driver sobriety.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 20-year-old Kyle James DEDECKER of Norfolk County, Ontario with driving over the legal limit.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
