Sometime during the winter months unknown person(s) entered the residence as well as others located in the same area. (Killaloe, Hagarty, Richards Township, ON) Provincial Constable Jason Golds is investigating another break, enter and theft to the same residence located on Roche Street, Killaloe. Sometime on July 15, 2015, two weeks after the residence had been previously broken into, unknown person(s) entered the residence and removed a safe as well as some jewellery. IMPAIRED DRIVER
(South Algonquin Township, ON) On Saturday, July 11, 2015 Sgt. Dwayne Sears and Provincial Constable Brent Darraugh were patrolling Highway 127 when they conducted a motor vehicle stop. Keith SWINDLEHURST, 57 years of age of South Algonquin Township was charged with
– Impaired Driving contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Over 80mg contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Possession of Marihuana contrary to section 4(1)(d) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act
SWINDLEHURST is scheduled to appear in Killaloe Court on 05 August 2015.
OVER 80MG
(Algonquin Provincial Park, ON) On Sunday, July 19, 2015 Sgt Dwayne Sears was conducting a RIDE program on Rock Lake Road when he conducted a motor vehicle stop. Christian BROWNELL, 42 years of age of Hastings Highlands was charged with
– Over 80mg contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
BROWNELL is scheduled to appear in Killaloe Court on August 5, 2015.
MISCHIEF
(Bonnechere Valley Township, ON) Provincial Constable Jeff MacLeod is investigating the mischief done to a mailbox on Minnie Road. The damage was done sometime between July 8 and July 9, 2015. If anyone has information contact the Killaloe OPP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
THEFT OF MOTORCYCLE
(Madawaska Valley Township, ON) Provincial Constable Barry Nisbet is investigating the theft of a 2013 Harley Davidson, flat black in color. On Monday, July 13, 2015 sometime between 10:30 am and 12:00pm the motorcycle had been left on the side of Combermere Road near Chapeskie Road with no fuel.
