KELL – Over 80

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – On April 14, 2016, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a traffic complaint of an erratic driver, travelling eastbound on Highway 401.

Highway Safety Division (HSD) officers located the vehicle, a silver Dodge pickup truck, on Highbury Avenue, near Bradley Avenue, in the City of London, Ontario.

Officers determined the male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.

As a result of the police investigation, 54-year-old Richard KELL, from London, Ontario, has been charged with care or control over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on June 28, 2016.
