(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On December 16, 2016 at approximately 8:42 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of a vehicle in the ditch on Grey Rd. 124 near Grey Rd. 4 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
Police attended and investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, a 2006 Infiniti G35, had been drinking alcohol. After failing a roadside breath test, the driver was transported to the Markdale OPP Detachment for further breathe tests.
Kathryn Anne COWLEY, 66, of Hamilton, was charged with the criminal offence of having care and control of a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in her system.
She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on January 26, 2016.
