(BRANT TWP, ON) – On December 19, 2016, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) closed Bruce County Road 4 between Bruce County Road 19 and Bruce County Road 22 for a weapon involved family dispute investigation.
Members of the OPP West Region Emergency Response Team, OPP Canine Unit, OPP Negotiators and West Region OPP Tactical Rescue Unit assisted the South Bruce OPP with this investigation. The accused was taken into custody without incident.
Twenty-four-year old Bradley CASKENETTE of Brockton has been charged with 2 counts of fail to comply and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
This is an isolated incident. There is no threat to public safety.
The barriers have been removed and Bruce County Road 4 is open for traffic.
