(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – A 48-year-old from Bluevale was issued a 3-day driver’s licence suspension following a traffic stop that took place on the west edge of Wingham this past weekend. At approximately 2:23 p.m. the driver of a GMC Sierra pickup truck entered into a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) checkpoint located at the intersection of Helena Street and Victoria Street West.
Upon speaking with the driver the officer noted the driver had been consuming some alcohol. A roadside screening test was administered and the driver registered a “Warn”. As a result the 48-year-old male driver from Bluevale was served with a 3-day driver’s licence suspension.
