(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County detachment has charged a 37-year-old male after investigating an incident at a Queensway East, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at approximately 4:46 p.m., police were called to the Real Canadian Superstore after receiving a complaint about a shoplifter.
Through the course of investigation it was determined that merchandise was removed from the store. Officers also located other merchandise that was taken from the Walmart store located on Queensway East earlier in the day.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 37-year-old Kal Marcel HOPPS of Haldimand County, Ontario with theft under $5,000 X2.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
