(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On February 4th, 2014 at approximately 12:10 p.m. a victim of lost property requested the help of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The victim advised Police that in her efforts to locate her missing property, she had spoken to a man that advised her he had found her property. This man requested a reward from her to have the property returned.
The exchange was made and Police arrested Justin BIRON, 55 years of age from Seguin Township. He was charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 and Corruptly Taking a Reward for Recovery of Goods both under the Criminal Code of Canada. He will answer to his charges on March 6 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice Parry Sound.
